How to fill in the fields in the “Main settings” menu section

Last update: 19.09.2024

In TravelLine Extranet, go to the “Hotel management” section and open the “Main settings” page. There, enter the essential information on your hotel.

1. Upload a hotel logo for the booking confirmation

This logo will be added to the booking confirmations that

2. Set your privacy policy

Let website visitors know the private data expiry periods of the TravelLine Platform. Learn more about the Guest Data Retention Policy.

3. Set a minimum booking period

This setting is applied in TravelLine Booking Engine.

Set a minimum period of time between a booking date and a check-in date (the MinAdvBooking restriction). Guests can make bookings this number of days in advance or more.

For example, if you select “5 days” as a value in this field will let website users book 5 days or more before their arrival dates. The booking will not be available on the day of arrival or four, three and two days in advance.

The maximum period before check-out — the period between a booking date and a check-out date. Due to this number, the price rates are easier to determine. By default, the maximum period before check-out equals 12 months. This means that even if prices and availability are all set, TravelLine Booking Engine will only let users book a stay a year in advance. A year is the recommended time period. You can change this figure to a higher one in order to increase the number of bookings done long in advance.

4. Indicate check-in and check-out hours

Indicate check-in and check-out hours; then, set early check-in and late check-out. Learn how to set check-in and check-out hours.

5. Select weekend days

Tick the days that will be considered weekends for the room pricing setting. Your guests will not see that, but this setting will make it easier to manage the price calendar. Learn how to choose weekend days on the “Main settings” page.

6. Set child age ranges

Create child age ranges to be able to create and manage family rate plans. This way, you will be able to indicate the rooms where families with children can stay and the price rates at which extra beds for children will be sold.

7. Fill in the hotel contact details

Add the hotel’s address, phone numbers, and email addresses for guests to be able to easily contact you. This information will be included in booking confirmations that

After you finish making settings, click on the “Save” button at the top of the page.
