How to add room amenities and set preferred beds

Room amenities in the TravelLine system is a list of all the room facilities and services provided by the property. The amenities will help guests to understand how rooms differ from each other, and what they get if they book a specific room.

To set room amenities, do the following:

1. Go to “Room management” > “Room types”. Click on a room category to start editing it. Scroll to the “Room amenities” section.

2. Click on any amenity to expand the list of provided items. Tick the items the room category has. Then, click on the “OK” button.

3. Click on the “Save” button at the top of the page.

When making a booking, guests will see the list of amenities in the room type description.

If you let guests choose the number of beds and their size when booking a room, set the preferred bed drop-down list. To do this, make the following steps:

1. Scroll to the “Room preferences” section.

2. Click on the “Beds” drop-down list and tick at least two options.

3. Click on the “Save” button at the top of the page.

When you set “Room preferences”, it is easier for guests to select the option they need on the first step of the booking process.
