How to change a room cleaning status
In TravelLine WebPMS, you can monitor your hotel’s housekeepers.
Every room in TravelLine WebPMS has a cleaning status. There are 3 of them:
Dirty — room needs cleaning. The status is automatically applied to a room after guests check out.
Cleaned — the cleaning is done.
Inspected — the room is inspected and ready for check-in.
The cleaning status is changed automatically in the following cases:
Once per 24 hours, at midnight by local time, the cleaning statuses on the “Front desk” page are synced to match the statuses in the “Housekeeping” Module
The room cleaning statuses sync when you create and check out bookings or move rooms
To make sure that the syncing of room cleaning statuses works correctly, set cleaning scheduling and check their frequencies. Learn more in the “How to add room service types to References” article.
You can also change a housekeeping status by hand in several ways:
First way
1. Go to “Property management” > “Housekeeping”.
2. Find the room you need and click on the icon in the “Action” column. Then select the status you want.
Second way
Go to the “Property management” > the “Front desk” page. In the list, find the room you need, and click on its cleaning status or bed type.
NB. When you change a cleaning status of a room to the “Cleaned” or “Inspected” on the “Front desk” page by hand, all the statuses of cleanings scheduled for today automatically select the same status.
Third way
Go to the “Property management” > “Front desk”.
In the “Room statistics” box, you see a number of rooms that have each of the statuses.
Click on the name of the status to see the list of rooms. Click on the status to the right of the room to change it.
When you change a cleaning status, it is automatically synced with the “Front desk” page.
