Market segmentation is vital for the hotel marketing strategy. It allows dividing guests into different groups and categories according to their requests and needs.
Select the “Market segment” for bookings in the tape chart to track and analyze such bookings later.
When creating a booking in the Front desk, indicate a market segment in the “Additional settings” section.
You can find the “Market segment” References in the “Property management” > the “Settings” > the “References” tab. There, select the “Market segment”.
How to add a new market segment to References
To add a new market segment, do the following:
1. Click on the “Add new element” button.
2. Write in a name of the new market segment. If necessary, write a comment. Then, click on the “Apply” button.
3. Click on the “Save” button at the top of the page.
How to set a default market segment
1. Click on the market segment you need.
2. Tick the “Set as default element in “Market segment” box. Then, click on the “Apply” button.
3. Click on the “Save” button at the top of the page.
