How to set “Out of order” room status

You may indicate what rooms are out of order in the WebPMS.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Go to “Room management” > “Housekeeping”.

2. Find the specified room, click “Action” and select “Out of order” status.

3. Select the dates when the room is unavailable for accommodation in corresponding fields. You may add several periods.

4. Add the description of the work and click “Save”.

5. Go to “Property management”, then “Front desk”. Here you may see that the room is out of order. It is impossible to check-in a guest during this period. This room will also be taken from the availability.

How to cancel “Out of order” room status

To cancel “Out of order” room status:

  1. Go to “Property management”, then “Housekeeping”.

  2. Find the specified room, click “Action” and select “Out of order” status.

  3. Click “Recycle bin” icon, then “Save”.

You may not cancel the work if it has already started. In this case, you may reduce its duration by changing its expiry date.
