The cancellation report allows you to assess the cancellation dynamic broken down by points of sale.
The cancellation report belongs to statistical reports. Data in the report is updated every 24 hours, at 5 am.
The purpose of the report is to monitor the number of cancelled bookings from each point of sale separately.
At the top of the page, there are filters that let you make a list of cancelled bookings sorted by either check-in date or cancellation date.
By clicking on the “Apply filter” button, the system makes a list of cancelled bookings displayed as a table. By default, the table contains the following columns: reservation number, reserved (date when the booking was made), arrival date, agent company, point of sale, rooms cancelled, nights cancelled, and lost revenue.
Click on the “View” button in the top right corner to add other columns that you might need or delete the default ones. For example, you can add such data as cancellation date, departure date, customer company, guest’s name, average price, and comment.
Under the table, you can see the statistics on cancellations of bookings made by customer and agent companies, and on different points of sale. The data is provided both in numbers and percentages.
This report lets you monitor cancellations and get data on the amounts that the cancelled booking would have brought in.
To download the report on the desktop, click on the “Export to XLS” button.
